I’ve spent 20 years dodging the anthropomorphic vs fuckable argument, hotdogs. And will continue to do so.

Wait; Circe, the ancient Greek sorceress best known for turning Odyssyeus’ men into pigs for trespassing on her island, who also turned another dude into a woodpecker for rejecting her, not to mention a bunch of other animalification incidents “accidentally” turned Biron into a horse?

Biron, I got news for you buddy: if she made you two potions, I guarantee you one turned you into a horse and the other turned you into a slightly different colored horse.

Geez, breakups were rough back then.

There’s plenty here to be mad about, from the character’s name (I guarantee you someone read that Chiron is the most famous centaur in Greek mythology and only changed the first two letters) to the leaps in logic and the retconning. What really makes me mad however is the idea that either off-brand-Chiron or Circe herself would be against having a relationship because one of them is a centaur. Greek mythology is full of relationships like that, and even the original Chiron married a nymph, who often were confused for humans, and had four children.

“Don’t worry son, Maldor will make your teacher regret his actions very soon, just give him this superhorse potion and…”
“Oh fuck dad! Could you, just this one time, try to solve a problem without transforming people into super-horses? Just for once?”

DC saw the horsefucker craze when My Little Pony was on a few years earlier and knew they couldn’t lose out on that demographic.

It’s interesting that Sailor Moon had a superhorse that Rini/Chibiusa was in love with, in the show. At least that was more a one-sided crush (I hope I recall that correctly) Superhorses: super popular…lol
