The most interesting thing about the Fly is that Jack Kirby’s original version of Spider-Man was shelved for basically being a rehash of the Fly, and Stan Lee gave the project to Steve Ditko to start over.
Two thoughts:
-Is it my imagination or is The Spider kind of…umm…”Hebrew-coded”?
-The thing that bothered me the most is that The Fly (The Bat) was flying off with a friggin’ safe and only about a 10-foot wingspan.
