This played every weekday morning in the late 80s on one of the Calgary stations, so as soon as I saw the topic I started singing the theme song. The only addition to this I can offer is that Hercules’ little centaur eromenos Newton would follow him around with his own little Herc simp theme, with Toot playing along with panflutes. Though this annoyed every other character and every viewer, they went back to it a million goddamned times.

Fellow Canadian, here. This would explain why I also saw every single episode multiple times as a child.

There was this CD with a bunch of cartoon theme songs like twenty years ago and while it had some good ones (like the “Batman: The Animated Series” theme and the one from the game show version of “Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego” which was a happy mistake) and the theme for this show was on it and since the very first time I heard it and they sang the thing about his thighs that line has stayed with me.

I have no idea why, but now I know what kind of show it is, and know that the line is perfectly emblematic of the show itself.

I watched every episode of this show multiple times. The theme song plays forever in my heart.
