My parents got KQ VI with their computer. I played much of it and died many, many times. To the point where even to this day that if I play an adventure game and don’t randomly die every five minutes. Also played that fan remake of KQ 2 quite a ways, but then that PC died and ate my save.
Only thing I remember about EA’s short lived attempt to revive Sierra with a new KQ is that they developer miiiiight have used all the money from the Homestuck videogame Kickstarter that they were commissioned to make to instead make the KQ game. Screwed over all up Homestuck eight ways from Sunday.
Wizards & Warriors also used that annoying ass password save…
That told me everything I need to know about KQ V for the NES.
