People think I’m joking when I tell people that spellbooks written by any combination of the words “Raven, Wolf, Silver, and Moon” is basically a Don Diebel analogue in terms of credibility. There’s a story behind it, I reckon, but the last half of the 90s saw a big uptick in neopaganism, mostly all he-hashes of derivatives using those 4 words as a sort of proto-SEO title and author gaming.
I love that Dennard can always find a new angle on this. Basic bitch witches? Standard. 00’s Karen Wytch? Unfortunately, very common. All that plus CopWife Wytch? Hell yeah.
