At first I thought that list of episode synopses had to have one which was a joke, but nope. Every single one of them seems to have happened.

Amazingly, seeing his dad peeing in drag wouldn’t have been the most traumatizing role he had back then; a few years before Mrs. Doubtfire, he played a kid Scheherazade-ing his way out of being butchered and roasted by Debbie Harry in Tales from the Darkside. Between those two movies and this, I’m thinking maybe his agent just hated him?
Every time I read an article from Merrit, I have to stop and google the topic. I never remember it and there is always a point where I think it might just be made it for the Hot Dog. It’s wonderful and is a perfect example of why this website needs to exist.

Now that cyberpunk is back in vogue, this is a good reminder that it was mostly “what if we could, like, go INSIDE the computer?”
I watched this show and had the toys! I always wanted that dragon one. And in a very odd bit of serendipity. On my flight back from Japan, I was watching Gridman Universe, I had no idea that SSSS was based on that property!
Man, this article wasn’t about the Big Bad Beetle Borg Christmas episode either!
The show was rebooted in 2018 as SSSS.Gridman taking some inspiration from the American version. It’s actually great.
Wait, I didn’t know Gridman Universe was a thing. Now I need to watch that; and also SSSS.Dynazenon
