I want a rose quartz skull named Theodora who just tells me they think I should wear more cool hats. Then gives me honest opinions about the hats.
NOTHING is more valuable than honest opinions about hats.
I love hats, but my head is shaped weird, and I can never tell if they look good on me.
A book written by ONE lying grifter about metaphysical topics is easier for me to swallow. Anybody can be schizophrenic. When two people get involved, though, it seems like it introduces a new dimension of bullshit, where neither can pretend they’re listening to spirits anymore, because they’re fabricating nonsense right in front of each other.
When two nutbags meet, they both simultaneously think one of two thoughts:
1. “Wow! Thank God I’m not THAT crazy!”
or…
2. “Is this how I look and sound to other people?”
Meeting others whose brains are broken in similar ways either makes your own insanity look inconsequential by comparison, or leads you to a personal epiphany (now you UNDERSTAND why strangers pull their children closer when you walk by)
